Aprilaire communicating programmable digital thermostat. Can be interfaced with a home automation system or used with a communication panel. Use with an 8825 communication panel will enable you to program and operate thermostat from an on site PC. Once you have this thermostat interfaced with a PC you can even operate it over the internet. This thermostat will work with gas, electric heat or heat pump. Designed for residential or commercial application on single or multi stage systems. Will tell you outdoor air temperature when installed with part optional outdoor air sensor available as an optional extra on this site. Replaces 8844, 8846, 8847 and 8848 thermostats (some minor wiring change is required and explained on page 17 Appendix 1 in the Automation Manual).
