The kit arrived in a timely fashion, and I was pleased with the price to renew our humidifier that didn't seem to be delivering what it was when it was new. I had been replacing the pads annually, but the top tray was worn, and I'm sure the water restrictor orifice was getting smaller. Installation was not that complex, but the diagrams were not very clear. A little work on the pictures and possible differences in parts you may encounter would go a long way. Thanks. Definitely worth the money. The humidifier is working like new again.

Nothing could be easier to install. The only trick is removing the reed from the inlet side of the solenoid - easily accomplished by turning in a wood screw by hand, just 1/2 turn or so is enough, then simply pulling the reed out. Alternatively you'll be pulling your hair out. HVAC people coming tomorrow to do the fall check-up. While here they were going to charge an estimated $150-200 to change the saddle valve (which they broke during the spring service) That project is only one valve, two screws and a nut. Did that myself in 5 minutes for $6. Bottom line - let the HVAC folks do the techie stuff but basic maintenance couldn't be easier or less intimidating.

I like to be ahead of needing an upgrade. Glad to have this maintenance kit ready and available for use. It is much better to be prepared before one needs it. My air filters are all ready in plastic bags. Capable of being used for the next few years and not having to wait for someone to say it's time or forgetting to say it's time.

Fit close to perfectly. The tubing could have been a more flexible plastic material. The top dispersion tray probably needs to be changed once per year. The restriction insert in the valve connector was not in the original installation. Would probably order again.
