Product Description
Replacement filter media for your Aprilaire 5000 high efficiency air cleaner. This filter media needs changed twice per year if you have heating and air conditioning and once per year if you have just heating. Should you have special conditions like lots of shedding pets, are located near a farm or other dusty environment or are a commercial application you will need to replace the filter media more often.
The manufacturer is sometimes referred to as April Aire, Aprilair, April Air but is correctly spelled Aprilaire.

I got the filter and installed it with few problems. It was such a great thing not to have to hire someone to do this. My husband is not very good a assembling so I did the work. It was simple and logical. One piece was left over when I got done so I called the tech team and send a photo. They carefully told me where it went. (It was a clip on the door and not really important) So we are ready for winter!!! Thanks Aprilaire.

We have had our mod.#5000 Aprilaire Filter for one year now . From May '10 to May '11 . The signal came on to change the filter ; so I followed the link on the box and purchased a new filter off-line . Within the instruction booklet for our unit and the instructions that came with the filter there was plenty of information for changing the filter . It was a simple job that only took about ten minutes . I also cleaned the electrostatic grid before putting everything back into the unit . There was nothing difficult about any of it . Thank you . This was a first for me.
