Aprilaire 4737 Resistor. This is the manual mode resistor for the model 58 digital auto humidity control. Use it if you do NOT want to install the outdoor air sensor.
The manufacturer is sometimes referred to as April Aire, Aprilair, April Air but is correctly spelled Aprilaire.

It fixed the problem by GeorgeB (Brighton MI US)
For reasons unknown, my original installer, never intalled the OA temp monitor OR the resistor. He just put in a jumper across the OA temp terminals! Installing the resistor was an easy and quick way to restore correct operation of the ApriAir Humidifier, Came on the promised day, took me less than 10 minutes to install and it works like a charm now!
