Product Description
The Aprilaire 4655 Humidistat is designed for low voltage service to control humidification equipment. Can be wall mounted or mounted on return plenum. For duct mount, locate at least 6 inch upstream of humidifier, humidifier bypass ductwork or fresh air intake ductwork. Replaces several different humidistats including part 83321.
The manufacturer is sometimes referred to as April Aire, Aprilair, April Air but is correctly spelled Aprilaire.

I am very pleased with my analog humidstat, it is so easy to adjust now. before we had to down the stairs to our lower level to adjust the humidstat. we did not do that often enough because of our age and health. now we can adjust the humidy percentage so easily. wish we knew about this humidstat a number of years ago.

I bought this to replace an older one that had not been working. This was about 200 to 300 percent cheaper than if I had gone through the plumber. Although I am not the handiest guy in the world, it only took me about l5 minutes to install.

control was corrrect one; had to move it to the 'old' holder, since the new holder or casing did not fit opening in the furnace. was easy to move the control to the old casing. thank you
