Easy to Replace by Earl Thompson (Elmhurst il US)

I am not a handyman and if I can replace this plate anyone can. It had broken when the top of the unit fell about six feet to my cement basement floor. I looked inside and saw that it was simply held by four screws and an electrical fitting. I took out the screws and used a wire cutter to carefully crack away part of the plastic orifice plate around the electrical fitting. I then replaced the old plate with the new one, put in the screws and carefully pressed the electrical fitting in place. The whole process took about five minutes. So far so good.
