Product Description
Replacement filter media for your Spacegard or Aprilaire 2400 high efficiency air cleaner. This filter media needs changed twice per year if you have heating and air conditioning and once per year if you have just heating. Should you have special conditions like lots of shedding pets, are located near a farm or other dusty environment or are a commercial application you will need to replace the filter media more often.
For units that have NOT YET been upgraded to use the new 413 HIGHER efficiency filter. See 1413 upgrade kit link below for more information.
The manufacturer is sometimes referred to as April Aire, Aprilair, April Air but is correctly spelled Aprilaire.

This was the 1st time that I ordered anything online - I am overwhelmingly pleased with the ease of the order process and the speed and helpfulness of the online communications that I had with "actual" representatives, The Aprilaire product is what my HVAC calls for, so I can't say much about that except that the price is about 60 percent less than what I would have paid for the same product provided by the HVAC service outfit. I will be back.

I'm not sure everybody is able to switch out the filters as easily as I can. I love the Aprilaire's ability to clean my air. With sometimes as many as three cats and one dog in the house, I have enough pet hair to choke most filters, but the Aprilaire pleated filter does a great job. The only thing I'm a little concerned about is the end papers/fuzzy stuff. It is a little dirty even though I try to vacuum it each time I change the pleated filter. Hope there is a way I can replace that.

The product is great and I thought was very easy to assemble and install. Regarding title above, you should be more explicit about what you want. This the first time I have changed the air filter in my AC system and more guidance on which way it goes into my system would be helpful. Thanks.
