Whole house humidifier, manufactured by. The Model 350 is designed especially for basement installations of hydronically heated homes. This model can also be installed independent of the forced heating system in a conditioned space to provide humidity. Normaly this unit is hung from the basement ceiling or rafters and ductwork is attached to the front and back of it. That ductwork is then turned upward to penetrate the floor of the space above the humidifier. Two floor grilles are then installed in the space above the unit to cover the ductwork. The unit will then suck dry air out of the first floor of the home and blow humid air back into the first floor of the home.

DUCTWORK for Model 350 not supplied. Seven inch diameter round ductwork attaches to back of unit and connects to a supply grille centrally located in the home. A supply grille with a minimum free area of 50 square inches is required but not included.

The manufacturer is sometimes referred to as April Aire, Aprilair, April Air but is correctly spelled Aprilaire.
