Aprilaire 1213 Upgrade kit to upgrade your existing 2200 or 2120 air cleaner to a MERV 13 air cleaner. Kit includes snap together frame and upgraded style filter. Replaces inner housing and eliminates the need for pleat spacers to hold your media together.

What an improvement. No more PLAYING and getting frustrated. BUT, the first changing of the filter was "interesting" lining up the filter to the bottom rails. I am sure next time will be a breeze.

The best part of the upgrade kit is not having to fit spacers between the folds of the standard filters. However, the new media filters do cost more.
