My first time ordering from Aprilaire Parts proved to be very satisfying. The website is easy to navigate and the encrypted ordering is clean and efficient. The products arrived very quickly and were nicely packaged. These pads were a direct replacement of my original parts and the disassembly and assembly went without a hitch. I did take the time to clean up the chemical deposits on the frame and around the water outlet but considering the pad had not been replaced in over 10 years, the condition was surprisingly good! As long as you can get easy access to the outer cover of the unit, anybody could perform this replacement. I will definately use this site again if I need parts.

I ordered the Humidifier Pad for our Aprilaire Humidifier and it was delivered to my door in 4 days. The box indicated that the pad would have a colored dot on one side to mark the side to be placed up. I found it pretty difficult to find the colored dot. After going outside to look at it in sunlight I finally found a very light yellow mark. There should be a more visible mark, I think. But other than that I had no problems with the pad. It fit just right and was delivered quickly.

Directions for installing the water panel are excellent. I installed the Aprilaire Model 500 humidfier and saved big bucks. If you are handy with tools you can do it.

I once purchased a filter with another major brand name at a major retailer. The product box indicated the unit would work in my model Aprilaire humidifier. Well it fit in height but NOT in width! I lost my receipt and was unable to get a refund. Lesson learned, use on genuine Aprilaire filters!! I only use (1) filter during the winter season in Virginia.
