Parts came as advertised. No problem installing. After reading a few reviews, I decided to warm the plastic hose with a hairdryer to ease in the installation.

Yeah I would give it five stars. It was the correct length - I did not have a problem with that. My problem was how the hose was wound for packaging. It was wound to put the most stress on the nozzle mounting - I had to twist the hose 90 degrees to get the nozzle mount in the hole. I didn't like at all.

For very little money my Aprilaire is up and running. The water supply replacement kit is easy to install. (The hose could be a tad longer for even an easier installation.) The whole process took just minutes.

I had a bit of trouble installing the 4235 feeder hose kit, only because the tube is pretty darn stiff and really needs to be even one-quarter inch longer to facilitate installation. The kit is only just as long as it needs to be, which makes it a trifle difficult to put in. Slightly (I say "slightly") more flexible tubimg and 1/4 to 1/2 inch leeway would make the job a bit easier. Otherwise, it clicked right into place. The stiffness, in particular, shows up when you are attaching it to the solenoid, and you must try to keep the tube horizontal when tightening the compression nut.

This was a good match to repair the broken hose on my humidifier. The only issue was that the hose is made of a stiff plastic (PVC) and was unbending to fit into the cramped area. It finally worked, but was a challenge.

Received two kits and installed one. One small problem was that it was fortunate I purchased two kits because I lost a small plastic washer. Each kit had one and I dropped one and could not find it so I had to use the one from the second kit. This of course makes the second kit of no value. I also had a problem with the hose in the kit. It was wound in a circle to fit into the plastic bag. The problem was that I could not unwind it and rebend it in the direction to fit into the humidifier. It is a very stiff hose and once bent into one direction makes it almost impossible to rebend in the opposite direction. Good think I had two kits. Bottem line is that I installed the hose, it works and I'm proud of my work. Thanks

My older Apriliaire 700 developed a small crack in the internal plastic feeder line which resulted in a slow but steady drip from the bottom of the unit. I figured out what part I needed and ordered it directly from Aprilaire. It was inexpensive, arrived promptly (a few days), and took all of 15 minutes to install. Now the unit works perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the way this all worked out...plus now my wife thinks I'm a genius (we won't tell her otherwise).

After 14 years from the original install, I thought it was time to replace this part. During the new install, come to find out that the strainers were never originally installed. Product fits and works great now. No exessive humidity, even flow of water across the pads. Perfect fit.

The hose was so rigid that is was very difficult to make the connection to the water line. I was afraid that I would crimp the hose trying to thread the compression nut. But if that makes it last longer, so be it. The product was the perfect size to replace the damaged hose and once I was able to make the water connection, worked perfectly and solved my leaking problem. The instructions were poorly printed in a font that required a magnifying glass to read but I was very thankful that they were included. Thanks,

The parts ordered and installed worked fine. I can't understand though why the feeder hose is made of a solid, hard material that is hard to bend. That's why the old hose cracked in the first place.
