The manufacturer is sometimes referred to as April Aire, Aprilair, April Air but is correctly spelled Aprilaire.

The original drain spud developed a crack and consequently it leaked. We replaced it with the Aprilaire 4223 Drain Spud. We purchased a replacement drain hose and hose coupling from Loews and installed the replacement spud. It should not be called a kit unless the drain hose and coupling are included.
