The filter I ordered fit exactly. The website had clear warnings to be sure you check what type of filter you should be ordering because there are 2 that are similar. I can tell that many people must still make the mistake. The instructions were super easy to follow (I'm not terrifically mechanically inclined) and the whole thing took about 5 minutes. to be honest, since I don't actually monitor particle counts in my house, I can't tell you if it's working better than the totally dirty one that was in there (I don't know if the filter was replaced in the previous 4 yrs however!).

Now there is an air cleaner. The hardest part is getting the first comb in to seperate the fins. After that it's all down hill. Took 5 minutes tops from the time I pulled the filter out to when I put it back in the furnace and does it ever filter the dirt.

I will probably upgrade to your new filter next time because from viewing the video of the new filter it looks easier to install and is more efficient, having said that my old filter that I removed was filthy so I could see how well it worked. Hopefully by the time I'm ready to buy the new improved filter the price will come down some, the higher price is the only thing that kept me from buying it this time.

I have been running around looking for this filter for way to long. They stopped carrying it at home depot's and general stores. Finally finding it here made my life a million times easier. Trying to put the wrong filter into the air filter spot really made things difficult. But now I will only buy this product from this site. Thanks for your help!

Really good air filter. I have replaced it twice now. My furnace is 3 yrs old and I replace the filter once per year. The filter both times was a little dirty but not filty dirty. I do not have pets.
