Product Description
Replacement filter media for your Spacegard or Aprilaire 2200 or 2250 high efficiency air cleaner. Rated at MERV 10 based upon 1200 CFM. This filter media needs changed twice per year if you have heating and air conditioning and once per year if you have just heating. Should you have special conditions like lots of shedding pets, are located near a farm or other dusty environment or are a commercial application you will need to replace the filter media more often.

The manufacturer is sometimes referred to as April Aire, Aprilair, April Air but is correctly spelled Aprilaire.

all went well. however, maneuvering the pleated filter and putting it in the stationary holder was a little difficult. It is worth doing it because it saved me a service call which would have cost over $100 dollars

Took me a couple minutes to determine exactly how to install the filter, due mostly to poor basement lighting! But once I realized how to install, it was a breeze. Fast service and self installation with the filter saved me probably $100.

The furnace filters arrived earlier than expected and in good condition. Buying two for free shipping is definitely worth it. The filter installed easily, once I realized that I had to remove the plastic combs. It's a little tricky getting all the comb teeth back in place, but doable.

At the suggestion of an Aprilaire Part's rep a while ago, I went ahead and converted / replaced my older box-style frame/pleated/spacer filter systems with the newer, more efficient type. Now, a year or so later, was the first time I needed to replace the filter media for those units. Quick and easy job (important when you have four HVAC systems each with Aprilaire HEPA units). The material in the newer HEPA filters is thicker and seems more capable of capturing particles that get past my 'hi-performance' air-return filters, so I'm glad to have this secondary system. I ordered a spare set of filter media packs along with the replacements so I'd be ready next time.

I ordered the 201 pleated air filter and it was delivered, at the time I did not realize that my service technician added a modification kit to my april air filter that resulted in me needing a the upgraded 213 pleated filter. When I realized this I returned the 201 filter and requested that the 213 filter be sent to me.
